Recognition

Honored by Lorain County Children Services

Detective Mark Carpentiere received the 1999 "Making a Difference Award"
Detective Mark Carpentiere truly cares about children and their families. He makes himself available to social service workers around the clock. He goes the extra mile to have justice served and is a great asset to the Lorain Police Department and to the other helping agencies in the county.

Many of our community’s children must tell detectives embarrassing, scary and very sad things that have happened to them. Mark has the extraordinary ability to talk with child victims so that they are as comfortable, as forthcoming and as at ease as possible. He is an asset to those who care about our children’s rights and safety.
